QR Attendance for Odoo ("the App") is a mobile application designed to facilitate employee attendance management through QR code scanning, integrated with the Odoo ERP system. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how we handle your information.

The App collects and processes the following types of information:

  • Login Credentials: Your Odoo server URL, database name, username, and password are used to authenticate with your organization's Odoo server. These credentials are stored locally on your device only.
  • Attendance Data: Check-in and check-out times, which are sent directly to your organization's Odoo server.
  • Camera Access: The App uses your device camera solely for scanning QR codes. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted.

3. How We Use Your Information

All information processed by the App is used exclusively for:

  • Authenticating you with your organization's Odoo server
  • Processing QR code scans for attendance check-in/check-out
  • Displaying your attendance history and dashboard statistics

4. Data Storage and Transmission

The App operates as a client for your organization's self-hosted or cloud-hosted Odoo server. All attendance data is stored on your organization's Odoo server, not on our servers. We do not operate any backend servers or databases.

Login session information is stored locally on your device using secure storage and is never transmitted to any third party.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App communicates exclusively with the Odoo server URL you provide during login.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. All data flows directly between the App on your device and your organization's Odoo server.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including:

  • Session-based authentication with your Odoo server
  • Local credential storage using the device's secure storage mechanisms
  • No caching of sensitive attendance data on the device

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Log out of the App at any time, which clears your locally stored session
  • Request access to your attendance data through your organization's Odoo system
  • Request deletion of your data by contacting your organization's Odoo administrator

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by employees of organizations using Odoo ERP. It is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13.
